Palm-sized robots, interactive water bottles, sleep trackers for kids, and more, are among the products presented to media at the second annual Kids’ & Family Tech Expo, on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in New York City. The Expo is hosted by Child’s Play Communications.
The only media event exclusively for tech products designed for children and parents, the 2017 Kids’ & Family Tech Expo built upon the success of its 2016 inaugural event. Each event attracted nearly 50 media including USA Today, the Today Show, Forbes, the Associated Press, Parents magazine, CBS-TV, Family Fun and Good Housekeeping.
Drones dominated the 2016 show, while 2017 featured a variety of inventive robots, along with items ranging from a connected wrist band that makes parenting easier to conductive dough that introduces kids to circuitry.
Exhibitors have included innovators in the kids’ and family tech space such as Lego Boost, Spin Master, Ozobot, Primo Toys, Technology Will Save Us, Kano, Bowhead Technology, Urban Hello, Kudo Banz, Dr. Panda, Little Robot Friends, Pai Technology, KinderLab Robotics and Tanoshi. Based in Britain, France, Denmark, China, Israel and the U.S., some of these leading-edge companies launched their latest creations at the Expo itself.
